After a slow spring, back to work


Finally back to working on the game after a really slow spring. Most of the things I'm working on is preparations and tools for making the actual game. I'm working on a portrait/dialogue tool, a character/enemy animation tool and a building/background building tool.

Some progress:

Portrait/dialogue tool:

Built a simple skeleton animation tool for bringing dialogue portraits to life. Here's a test with placeholder graphics, "animated" in real time by changing values:


Character animation:

Preparing for the character animation tool, found out it looks pretty cool if you spin with the mouse before attacking. I liked it so much that I'm very much considering adding it as a gameplay mechanic in some way.
