Update 0.0000001b
A small update that fixes a few things and introduces some new things:
New: Simple Shadows ( performance option, and daytime shadows)
New: Simple Rain (performance option)
New: Temp running animation fix
New: "Sheathe" Power up:
- Small heal after not using the sword for a short while
- Sheathing gives "Draw attack" buff: Next attack is bigger and stronger
- This is an example of a non-essential powerup
- The main function for this (later) would be to add things like status effects or buffs/debuffs to this attack
New: FPS meter on menu (if the menu is low FPS on the menu there's probably compability/hardware/HTML issues)
Fix: C default toggle button from Ctrl (Ctrl+buttons in browser can make bad things happen, oops)
Fix: Streetlights shading and wind movement
New: Block indicator on reduced damage (+orange text, for better clarity)
Fix: Shield/guard pushback Y-alignment adjustment
Fix: Buy stats/pots point cost fix (50 points can buy something costing 50 now, ionstead of requiring 51)
Fix: Fixed pickup descriptions
New: Partial JP "translation" (probably really awkward in places)
Fix: Light circle around player now follows the camera in Z height
The reason I'm still not doing anything about enemies is that I'm saving that for when I'm redoing some of the enemy basics (the current enemies are some of the oldest placeholders now, not only graphically — they have no pathfinding or behavior)
Same things with walls, which still look very off when the wrong size: That is what's coming up next, when I upgrade the software a little. Hopefully the new tools I'll get to use won't just make things easier to make, but also improve performance! Hopefully it will be a relatively painless transition. I will have to redo some stuff though.
